Costume – these were collected in 1910-1920 Expeditions by the Chicago Field Museum, these Indians were descendants of the Maya and continue to live as they did 1000 years ago, the shoes, sandals, net bags, tobacco gourd, sombrero, hand made embroidered shirts, pants, sashes and original collection of photos are included in this lot, some moth damage to woman’s skirt, all from Chiapas, Mexico – this group should have been sold in smaller lot but consignor wished to keep collection intact – Sale Highlight!
