         ANTIQUE TOY AUCTION                 

              Saturday, September 11, 2010 – 9:30 A. M.

            The Old Barn Auction is proud to announce a Toy Auction on September 11, 2010.  Featured is the toy motorcycle collection of collector Mike Pappas of Frederick, Virginia.  Besides Mike's collection of motorcycles (over 200), we have a fine array of quality Cast Iron Mechanical Banks, Early American Horse drawn toys, Still Banks, Pressed steel vehicles, Tin plate automobiles, Character and Space toys, as well as other Battery operated and windup toys.  There is a nice grouping of Toy Soldiers, Trains, and Early Girls toys.  There will be approximately 650 lots.  You don’t want to miss this Midwest Toy Auction!

            We hope that you can join us for this September 2010 auction.  A colored, illustrated catalog is available for $15.00.  Contact the Old Barn regarding information on an annual subscription.  Prices realized list will be sent after each auction.  These catalogs are great reference tools.  Dealers are welcome to set up.  There will be a slight fee.  Please call in advance for a table.

            Phone, Absentee or Bidding Live Internet Bidding:  You may bid by phone, absentee or Live Internet Bidding.  For Live Internet Bidding go to www.liveauctioneers.com or www.ebay.com to register.  A additional  5% will be added to the buyer’s premium for internet bidding.  Your absentee bids will be given to an experienced bidder in the audience to execute competitively and buy as cheaply as possible.  A down payment is not necessary, we will bill you if successful.  It is not a foolproof system, but is 100% honest.  If you plan to phone bid, please make arrangements during the week.  Please don’t wait until the day of the sale to send or call in your bids, would need to have them by Friday.  You can call in your bids or fax.  If you need a better description of an artifact, please call the week of the sale.
