A very rare Civil War era Gadget Cane the cane is made of corkscrew wood: is heavily patinated and has traces in some areas of dark green paint it is unique with a hidden corkscrew in the handle that disappears in the cane this is a very early cane with folk art history. The steel sleeve between the handle and cane is heavily patinated, hand forged, blacksmith made steel, overall length is 32in and the corkscrew wood part of the cane is 3.5in diameter at the corkscrew area.
