Mural Study #1 by Earl J Neff From the famous depression artist Earl J Neff comes this original mural study painting It is named: Mural Study #1 for "History of Locomotives, Cleveland Stagecoach & Dewitt Clinton." In 1936 Earl J Neff was commissioned by the Brotherhood of Engineers to do 12 separate original art works of locomotives and trains That was then painted as murals for their building in Cleveland Ohio These 12 murals were completed in 1937 and measured 101 feet long and 4 feet high The Engineers Building was raised i in 1989 This mural is the only one left and preserved It is currently on display atthe Gund Arena in Cleveland This original mural study #1 painting is of mixed media on paper It measures I I" x 24in and is matted and framed
