Plains Beaded War Club 1890 overall length including the fringes at the bottom of the handle is 21in the handle is covered in rawhide and has beads covering the handle rawhide seam the base of the handle has 1.5in of multi- colored beads as does the top of the handle the brain-tanned strap around the stone is bead covered as well the top and bottom of the handle have many fringe drops and there are 6 tin drops in the fringes at the top the club is a 'floppy- head' and held on by the tough rawhide excellent patina everywhere
